The base feels slightly bulky due to the large logo plate, but the toy itself is light and easy to handle.

The total length measures 8.3 inches (21 cm) — about 2.75 inches (7 cm) for the handle and 5.5 inches (14 cm) for the insertable shaft.

The tapping finger is positioned midway along the shaft and measures 2.1 inches (5.5 cm) in length and 0.4 inches (1 cm) in width.

The opening that houses the tapping arm is about 2.5 inches (6.5 cm) long, 0.6 inches (1.6 cm) wide, and 1 inch (2.6 cm) deep.

The shaft maintains a consistent thickness of about 1.2 inches (3 cm) throughout, except near the head, which tapers slightly and becomes just a bit thicker.

Every part of the Tempo is made from body-safe silicone, except for the logo plate, which is ABS plastic.

In addition to the purple version, it’s also available in black.

Both functions can be used independently or simultaneously, allowing for a wide range of sensations.

Thanks to its curved design, the Tempo can still reach the G-spot even when the tapping function isn’t active, making it suitable for use as a regular G-spot vibrator.

The toy has two buttons, each operating one of the motors. There are nine modes for both tapping and vibration, with intensity levels that can be further adjusted through the app.

The tapping finger extends about 0.6 inches (1.5 cm) outward on both sides during movement.

However, the pressure sensing mode didn’t seem to respond during testing, as pressing different parts of the app or toy didn’t trigger any noticeable change.

Our experience using Honey Play Box Tempo

The thickness of the shaft felt great — comfortable enough for easy insertion, yet still pleasantly filling.

On the lowest setting, the tapping arm could be felt, though it took some adjusting to find the right angle to really focus that sensation.

On the highest setting, the tapping was much more noticeable and felt best when combined with vibration.

Initially, it seemed like one of those toys where you find the perfect angle and then just leave it there, but that wasn’t the case.

It required some movement to get the most out of it. While gentle thrusting felt nice thanks to the curve and thickness, the best results came from moving the toy side to side to keep the tapping arm as close to the G-spot area as possible.

The vibrations lean more toward the buzzy side rather than deep and rumbly, but the combination of tapping and vibration feels really nice.

The Tempo is on the louder side during use. Both the vibrations and tapping can be clearly heard, with the vibration motor being considerably louder.

When both functions are used simultaneously, the noise level increases noticeably — even on the lower settings.

How to charge Honey Play Box Tempo?

The Tempo comes with a magnetic charger, though the connection isn’t very strong.

It’s best to check the connection while the toy rests on a flat surface during charging to ensure it stays in place.

A full charge takes about 2 hours, providing approximately 1.5 hours of use time.

How to clean Honey Play Box Tempo?

Since the Tempo is fully waterproof, cleaning it under warm water with mild soap is easy and effective.

Be sure to clean carefully around the ridges and bumps of the tapping arm to remove any residue.

The Tempo definitely delivers a unique sensation — it feels like nothing else I’ve tried before. It isn’t a hands-free toy as I initially thought; it requires some movement to really hit the right spot.

But when it does, the combination of tapping and vibration feels great, and the thickness of the toy adds just the right amount of fullness.
