Nothosaur quickly became my go-to brand for fantasy toys — I just love everything about them. The lore, the colors, the details… oh, they’re simply stunning to look at.

We’ve been diving deep into dildo play lately, and my favorite so far has been VRA.

I’ve developed a bit of a thing for the knotted style (okay, maybe I read too many fantasy books), and that same fantasy vibe carries over into Rocco as well.

But VRA just does something to me. (Alright, maybe I have a soft spot for the “monster” types in those books — don’t judge me.)

So, when Luka told me we’d be getting more toys from Nothosaur, I screeched. Like, actually.

This time, I got something a little different — more challenging, more mysterious, and definitely more exciting.

As night falls, the world lies hushed beneath the weight of their return. You kneel beside a silver river, its surface a trembling mirror between realms.

From the reflection emerge two identical figures—ethereal twins draped in darkness, their eyes burning with the light of distant stars.

“We’ve been waiting for you,” one murmurs, as chains of water rise and bind your wrists in liquid starlight.

They step closer, voices entwining like twin galaxies collapsing into one.

“Your pleasure,” they whisper, “is only just beginning.”

Things we like about Nothosaur Gemini

The coloring, attention to detail, and overall craftsmanship are excellent. The tapered head allows for easier insertion onto the thicker shaft. The bumps, ridges, and head design add noticeable texture for grinding, teasing, or shallow thrusting. The toy is flexible enough that only one of the twin shafts can be used at a time.

Things we disliked about Nothosaur Gemini

Even the smallest size may be too large for some users, especially when used for dual entry. What feels like the perfect fit for vaginal play might still be too big or uncomfortable for anal use.

I’ve often talked about the importance of checking—and double-checking—sizes when ordering toys like this, especially after our experience with Banner.

So this time, I followed my own advice. I measured carefully before choosing the size and went with Medium… but I still didn’t realize Gemini would be that big.

With a total length of 9.25″ (23.5 cm) and 7.28″ (18.5 cm) insertable, both dildos are exactly the same size.

The head measures 1.97″ (5 cm) in diameter, and the base is massive—an impressive 20.67″ (52.5 cm) around.

And yes, this is just the Medium size!

Gemini comes in five sizes: Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large, and Extra Extra Large (you can see them all in the picture below).

It’s made from high-quality, body-safe silicone and available in three firmness levels: soft, medium, and hard.

For reference, the one I played with is soft—and given its size and design, I definitely find softer toys more comfortable to use.

Let’s start at the top — with the heads.

They’re large, but nicely tapered, making insertion easier, and the transition to the shaft is clearly defined.

The shaft thickens before narrowing again near the base, creating a beautiful shape. It’s decorated with bumps and ridges that look almost like jewelry, running all the way down to the base.

The base itself is wide and sturdy, with more sculpted details and texture. There’s even a beautiful Nothosaur logo etched into the silicone.

Thanks to its design, both dildos can stand upright on a flat surface, and the built-in suction cup really helps keep them in place during play.

The soft version is pleasantly squishy and flexible, allowing the two shafts to be stretched away from one another without strain.

There are also plenty of options when it comes to colors and finishes — mine is in the Seraphim color, and it’s absolutely stunning in person.

Our experience using Nothosaur Gemini

Since I overestimated the size, there was a lot of foreplay — and even more lube — involved in playing with Gemini.

I wasn’t too worried about one of the dildos, but the other definitely presented a challenge. For that reason, we mostly used Gemini together.

I needed Luka’s help this time (and I don’t think he minded).

Thankfully, the dildos are flexible enough that we could start by using just one before working up to both at the same time.

The first one was a breeze — it felt exactly as I’ve come to expect from Nothosaur toys. The head slides in easily, and that distinct transition to the shaft feels just right.

The shaft stretches me perfectly, slow and deep, without being overwhelming.

Then came the twin. Luka took his time prepping me and making sure I wasn’t in too much pain. The same pattern repeated — the head went in easily, but the shaft was the real challenge.

The feeling of fullness was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. The prep was absolutely worth it; my whole body shook.

I’d definitely recommend taking it slow and enjoying every bit of that build-up.

When I played with Gemini alone, I wasn’t brave enough to go for dual entry — but I discovered a great trick. Sitting on one of the dildos, I could use the other as a grinder, and that was super fun.

How to clean Nothosaur Gemini?

When washing Gemini with warm water and mild soap, make sure to gently scrub around the ridges and bumps— those details can trap residue if not cleaned thoroughly.

You can dry Gemini with a soft, lint-free towel or let it air dry completely. Even if you towel it off, it’s best to leave it out afterward to ensure all moisture escapes from the finer details.

For a deeper clean, Gemini is completely safe to boil. This is a great option every few months, between partners, or anytime you want a thorough refresh.

Special considerations when using Nothosaur Gemini?

Gemini is large, heavy, and features two thick shafts — this can be challenging for users with limited grip strength, hand dexterity, or mobility.

The toy’s weight and dual structure can make handling it for long periods tiring.

The sculpted ridges and bumps provide strong sensations. For those with heightened sensitivity or pain conditions (e.g., vaginismus, vulvodynia, chronic pelvic pain), the texture may be overstimulating.

Final words

We had so much fun testing out Gemini! From the initial “How the fuck is this supposed to fit?” to the proud “Look how well you’re taking it!” — it was a whole adventure.

Its flexibility really stood out. Being able to use just one dildo at a time made it practical, easier to handle, and surprisingly versatile for both solo and partner play.

I wouldn’t recommend this toy for beginners — at least not in this size (seriously, measure every detail before ordering, trust me on that).

But for seasoned sexplorers and fantasy lovers? What are you waiting for?
