There is no bigger joy in a life of a sex blogger than when they receive a new, freakishly sexy toy that is at the same time the first stainless steel vibrating dildo in the world. Welcome to L’acier Capo review folks!!!

Stainless steel dildo L'acier Capo

But before we dive in, let’s set the stage with a brief introduction…

This review is part of our collaboration with L’acier which is one of the brands under the Velvet Thruster company.

Recently, Leja reviewed the Velvet Thruster, a super kinky handheld fucking machine, and we published that video on Youtube.

Shortly after, we published an article featuring 6 kinky ways of playing with a thrusting dildo.

We were so much under the impression of that sexy beast that we talked about it in a podcast episode Let’s talk about Velvet Thruster.

Luka also got a new penis toy to test out, the Boutiuque Voila’s Grenade Masturbator, and that review is also available on Youtube. Boutique Voila is one of their brands too.

They come from Brooklyn, New York and I gotta say, they’re doing a fantastic job.

Let’s jump into the review. I can’t wait to tell you all about L’acier Capo.

Fun fact: L’acier translates to ‘steel’ in French, and even though they’re not from France, the name certainly amps up the allure of the toy.

Fun Fact #2: Capo translates to ‘boss’ in Italian, and this toy certainly radiates those commanding vibes.

So, elegance + commanding vibes.

First:

The Verdict

L’acier Capo unboxing

L’acier Capo comes in a big, luxury, hard cardboard box. The box is grey with elegantly written L’acier across the middle.

L'acier Capo Box

The box like this definitely sets the tone and I like that. Bold, sexy, and elegant.

In the box, you will find a flyer saying you have 1-year warranty on the toy, and another flyer showing what’s inside the box, a finger ring, a long-reach handle, a bullet vibrator, and the stainless steel dildo, Capo.

The 1-year warranty is on the bullet. The Capo has a lifetime warranty.

Size comparison. It is massive.

I find it really cool they put in the finger ring and the long-reach handle.

Yes, not having them would make it almost impossible to use the toy but hey, given the state of the world right now and the general low-quality products overflowing the market, I think it’s worth the praise.

Size, weight and material

Capo has an insertable length of 5.5’’ and a maximum thickness of  1.2’’ – which, when you look at the numbers, seems like an average dildo, however, Capo is not an average dildo.

Capo gives massive vibes and commands respect with its weight.

L'acier Capo with a handle

And let me tell you, you do not need a scale to feel the weight. It’s HEAVY!

To be specific, Capo weighs  985 grams or 2.1 lbs and to put it in context, it weighs 0.6 lbs more than nJoy Pure Wand!!! Nuts!!!

L'acier Capo and another stainless steel dildo

The best of stainless steel toys.

I definitely recommend reading the nJoy Pure Wand review, to get an idea of what I’m talking about, however, the bottom line is, nJoy Pure Wand’s weight is the biggest culprit in all those leg-shaking orgasms the toy delivers.

And if we add 2 and 2, 0.6 LBS more can only mean stronger pressure on the sweet spots and strongers orgasms!

The toy is also hollow, imagine the weight if it wasn’t!

Where the bullet vibrator goes.

L’acier Capo is made from 316 stainless steel, which is a durable, strong, and long-lasting material. The surface, under the fingers, feels very slick.

Features

Well, aside from the weight, which should definitely be mentioned as a feature, rather than just as a fact, there are couple of other features definitely worth mentioning.

L'acier Capo stainless steel dildo head

Head photo #1

The design strikes me as semi-realistic, mirroring the contours of a penis with an upward curve at the tip specifically crafted to target the G-spot. It kinda looks like your fingers when put in a come hither position

The head and the curve are pronounced in design, all aimed to deliver targeted, strong stimulation to the G-spot area.

The other features I’ll go through are the bullet vibrator and the handles/attachments.

Bullet vibrator

L’acier Capo comes with a bullet vibrator that perfectly fits the hole inside the toy.

The bullet vibrator looks basic, with one button in the base, which serves to turn on the toy and cycle through different vibration modes.

Is it strong like they say? Not really. The vibration is on the low, buzzing end of things. But that’s not the biggest issue.

The issue is that the Capo’s body, being robust and thick due to the stainless steel, appears to hinder the transmission of vibrations. And what I felt is almost nothing. Only a slight added sensation

The vibrations are more pronounced at the Capo’s base than at its tip.

But..BUT!

Like nJoy Pure Wand, this toy does not really need vibrations to be freakishly great. It already has everything it needs to be great – and that is its shape and weight.

L’acier Capo attachments/handles

The toy comes with two attachments/handles.

L'acier Capo finger attachment and bullet vibrator

Bullet and the finger loop.

The finger ring I preferred when I played with the Capo by myself. It made holding and controlling Capo easier as the loop helps you pull out the very likely wet and slippery toy outside. There is also a hole that allows you to change the bullet vibe’s mode, should you care about that.

L'acier Capo with a handle

The longer reach handle proved to be more handy when Luka was controlling the toy. He liked it.

The longer reach handle might also be useful if you have shorter hands or a bigger belly, although the handle has a pretty steep angle and the handle might get in the way if you have a bigger belly than what the angle can accommodate.

However, both of the attachments are good and serve the purpose.

The longer reach handle could possibly help you penetrate yourself anally.

There are slots on the Capo that secure the attachments to the toy. All are simple and intuitive to use.

Using L’acier Capo

The impressive Capo satisfied me several times, easily and greatly. Like with the nJoy Pure Wand, my orgasms were intense, just how I like them.

But there is a process to getting there, at least for me. Generally speaking, you want to make the weight work for you, not against you and to do that, you have to figure out the angles.

While that sounds complicated, the process is rather enjoyable. I mean we’re talking about using the sex toy.

The only thing I would recommend is to steer away from fast, deep thrusts as the weight might cause some unpleasant emotions. At least for the first time. Start slow.

For me, what worked were slow-ish thrusts, not too deep, and also kind of pulling or angling the toy upwards as the toy was going out.

See the movement here, on a video.

That sensation rockets me straight to cloud nine. It results in an effortless and intense climax, akin to the first sip of a perfectly brewed coffee on a chilly morning—intensely gratifying and instantly invigorating.

And yes, it’s a bummer the bullet vibe is not strong enough to be felt like I would like it to be felt but I also don’t care.

L’acier folks, take notes. The next iteration should have at least 3x times stronger bullet.

Anyway, I wanted to reiterate two main ways/benefits of stainless steel vibrating dildos. After all, you have to take advantage of the material.

Stainless steel offers an initial coolness that’s surprisingly delightful, but it soon adjusts, mirroring your body’s warmth. Pure bliss.

Remember, use L’acier Capo’s weight to your advantage

When you have such a heavy toy in your hands, you should play on and with it. Aim for the G-spot and let the weight do its work. Regular toys that do not weigh as much can not provide the sensations these toys can.

We did not try it, but I’m sure you could rock your P-spot in the same way we rocked my G-spot.

Temperature play with Lacier’s Capo

To further the material’s effect, cool down the toy under cold water or warm it up with your body or under hot water. The toys will quickly adapt to your body’s temperature, however, the initial contact is something different.

Our favorite blindfold, super soft with padded circles around the eyes that block all the view.

A sexy thing we love to do is blindfold each other (not at the same time, at least not for this kind of play) and trace the warmed and/or cooled toy around the sensitive and fun zones. You’re in for a treat, let me tell you!!

Lubing up the L’acier Capo

For the perfect result, add a handful of lube and stroke thoroughly. – in the voice of a seasoned chef.

Yes, even if you don’t need lube, lubing up will make the toy slide in and out like a dream.

You can use any lube for that purpose. Recently, we’ve been vibing with Good Clean Love lube, great lube, and great ingredients.

Cleaning stainless steel dildos

Disassemble the toy (Capo, bullet, handle) and wash with soap and warm water. After you’re done, let it air dry before putting it back.

Special considerations

Users with disabilities should consider their weight, definitely. You need to be able to hold and move 2.1 lbs of steel.

Also, you should have dexterity in your hands to attach the handles. It is not super hard but you need some amount of force to do it.

Bigger folks should consider the handle. It helps but it might also prove to be almost useless if you have a big belly.

The button on the bullet is not elevated and pressing it might be a problem. Although, it’s located at the base of the bullet, locating it is intuituive.

If you never played with such a toy, again, weight is something that you should think about. The sensation is very strong and intense and it might not be for everybody, or at least, it will take some time to get used to it.

Conclusion

Although the bullet was kinda disappointing, I still think the toy is top-notch.

Just to emphasize again, the weight and shape are pivotal. Harness them at the right angle, and you’re set for a deeply exhilarating climax adventure.

And the best part? The price.

This toy will set you back $139 (at the time of writing, it was discounted to $119). Yes, it surprises the $100 mark but that’s not a lot for a toy that will outlive us all.
