GITMPLAYBOOK makes toys for people buying their first one, the sort of shopper who wants a bit of guidance and none of the intimidation. 

I am not that shopper. I’ve tested more toys than I can reasonably account for, which is exactly why I wanted to put a beginner line through its paces, because a toy aimed at a first-timer has to actually deliver, not just look friendly on the shelf.

So I spent time with three of them: the Wave Rabbit, the Mini Earbud, and Betty-Lipstick.

They don’t have much in common on the surface, one’s a full rabbit, two are disguised as things you’d find in a handbag, but they share one thing: every one of them is stronger than it looks, and every one of them will get you off. 

Here’s which is which, and which is for you. 

Best for grip and drama: The Wave Rabbit

If you want a toy that grabs on and doesn’t let go, this is the one. The Wave Rabbit is a classic dual-stimulation rabbit, a vibrating shaft that goes inside plus a clit head, but the clit head is the reason to buy it. 

Despite being sold as suction, it’s really a proper pump. It latches onto your clit and holds, and once it’s sealed where you want it, it’s near impossible not to come, it just sucks you right there and keeps going until you do.

That makes it a set-it-and-enjoy toy rather than something you actively fuck yourself with, since too much movement breaks the seal. With the shaft filling you and the pump working your clit at once, it’s genuine double stimulation. 

The honest caveats: the G-spot side doesn’t do much unless you rock against it, and the vibrations lean buzzy rather than deep.

It’s also the biggest of the three and makes no attempt to look like anything other than what it is. But if drama is what you’re after, the Rabbit brings it.

Best for travel and discretion: The Mini Earbud

This one is a tiny clitoral vibrator shaped like a mini earbud that docks into a matching charging case. The case tops the toy up magnetically and recharges itself with a USB-C cable, which makes it legitimately useful for travel. 

The soft silicone mouth creates a light seal over the clit but it is not actual suction - the strong, buzzy vibration is what does the work. Even the lowest setting is intense. It also feels good pressed against nipples.

This is the one if you want maximum discretion and something that travels without announcing itself. 

The disguise and the self-charging case are the real strengths. Just know that even the lowest setting hits hard, and the case itself is not waterproof.

Best for teasing and foreplay: Betty Lipstick

Betty hides in a lipstick, cap and all, and pairs strong buzzy vibration with a low-level microcurrent mode and two little metal balls at the tip. 

Those balls are a genuine highlight, cold at first and pleasantly pinpointed, with enough of a gap between them that I could sit one on each side of my clit at once.

Where it really shone for us was as a teasing toy. On my own it’s a quick, no-nonsense way to get myself off, but handed to Luka it became something slower and meaner, he’d hold it on my clit until I was right on the edge, then take it away before I could come, over and over until I was begging.

What they all have in common

Here’s the thread I didn’t expect from a beginner line: all three run strong. If you like a strong, decisive sensation that gets you there and doesn’t mess around, this whole lineup is for you. 

If you were hoping for something soft to ease in with, these might be more than you bargained for.

Discretion is where they split. The Earbud and Betty are proper disguises, and both disappear into a bag without a second glance. 

The Rabbit doesn’t play that game. It’s bigger, it looks like exactly what it is, and it’s the one you’ll want a drawer for rather than a carry-on.

So, Which One Is Actually for You?

If you want gripping suction and drama, and you like the idea of lying back and letting a toy fuck you and work your clit at the same time, get the Wave Rabbit. 

If discretion and travel-readiness matter most, the Mini Earbud is the obvious pick, and the one I’d throw in a weekend bag. 

And if you want something discreet with a mean teasing streak, especially to hand to a partner, Betty-Lipstick is the one.

Whichever way you lean, know that you’re getting something with real power behind it. For a beginner, that’s better to have than the opposite.
