‘’Oooh, I like how it feels when it’s inside me,’’ said Leja when I slid in the lubed Gvibe Gjack 2. Testing toys before reviews is by far the best part of this blog, however, when I took Gjack2 out of the box, I really got excited, slightly more than I usually do.

What the hell provides excitement in a life of a sex blogger, you might ask yourself. We get new, interesting toys on a constant basis so why did Gjack2 excite me more? Size? Shape? Material? Vibration modes? Charging cable?

The answer to that question is complex and also very simple at its core.

Let’s start with the first thing – the box.

Box

Gjack2 arrived in a distinctive cylinder box, with the picture of the toy on the body and with the flag of the UK on the lid. Cute. And perfect to be gifted.

Gvibe Gjack2 box from the angles

Don’t ask me why but boxes like this, cylinder-shaped box, are in my head perfect to be gifted. If I had to guess, everything that looks out of the ordinary is a good candidate to be given as a gift.

Inside the box – usual things. Gjack2 was placed inside a rounded holder, so it can firmly stand in the middle of the box. And also, there was a magnetic charging cable, a user manual written in several languages, and a storage pouch.

Pouch that comes with the toy

It makes my heart go warm when I see the drawstring pouch. If we could, I’d keep all the boxes but that is unfortunately not possible and because of that, getting the pouch is really the little thing that makes the difference.

Gjack2 material

Now onto more interesting things. As soon as I took Gjack2 in my hands I noticed that the material is soft, very soft. We could even say – too soft compared to the other toys we reviewed.

Squishing the Gjack2's tip

You can see here the amount of squish. It reminds me of a foam stress ball, which is very different from what goes by body-safe silicone these days.*

*I added this additionally: I compared it to the toys we tried & reviewed. There are many indie toy makers these days that create toys that are not-so-firm and are very squishable. Which again depends on the type of silicone used.

Squishable material

You can notice that the toy’s head is more squishable than the body but that is because the body is where the motors and other electronics are.

By scrolling through the little guide we got I found out that the material is called Bioskin. Or as they claim it to be – Revolutionary Bioskin.

I don’t like it when folks talk up their thing to the point where it’s revolutionary. If it really is revolutionary, then there is no need to boast around.

Anyways, I did not know much about it, maybe it really is revolutionary and this is just average marketing or maybe, it sucks.

The first thing I wanted to find out is if the material is body-safe. Quick research and we found the review of its predecessor – Gjack. Folks from The Big Gay Review performed a flame test on the toy, and while the results were not conclusive, they were pointing to the positive result – the material is body-safe.

Edit: I found out that Phallophile Reviews also did the flame test and the results were in line with those of The Big Gay Review.

What threw me off is the fact that the structure of Bioskin material is secret:‘’ The Bioskin is a new material that has never been present in the adult industry before. Jack Romanski, the inventor of Gvibe, participated actively in the creation of the revolutionary material together with a team of experts. It took them almost 18 months. The composition is secret and the formula is patented.’’

Kinda shady but let’s say it’s secret because other companies don’t steal the formula. If I did not really like the toy, I’d proceed and do another flame test but I wanna keep using it so I’ll just place my trust in them.

Bioskin is a body-safe, hypoallergenic material that reminds me very much of human skin.

No, the toy does not remind me of human skin, just the outside coating. Why? Because no one’s penis is that squishable and it definitely does not look like ice cream.

However, the two things I really liked are that the coating is very soft and feels very luxurious, and also the toy warms up quickly, which is another benefit of the Bioskin material (open the photo to see).

If you like playing with toys underwater then you’ll surely appreciate the fact that Gjack2 is completely waterproof.

What I think is good with the material being so soft is the fact that for some, it might be too hard or maybe even painful inserting a toy so big inside them. Also, what Leja said, clenching around the toy so big and so soft feels great.

Maybe it is revolutionary in the end?

Gjack2 shape

Let’s talk about the shape of the toy.

Gjack2 reminds me of two things: ice cream for one and a fantasy dildo of sorts – because it looks like ice cream.

Gjack2 shape

The ‘’ice cream ridges’’ are really pronounced, as you can see on the photo. Gjack2’s head resembles the penis head and the holder is basically a hook.

The whole toy is slightly bent, or curved, and they aimed for it to hit the G-spot with that shape. Leja said it does an average to good job doing that. What she felt more are the ice cream ridges and where she felt them the most is around the entrance.

Does it hit the P-spot? Here’s what The Big Gay Review wrote:

The curve in the shaft is nice, and as the central part is solid, you can really feel the curve. It was able to make some contact with my prostate, and when thrusting, it did feel nice.

If you ask me if the toy was slightly more bent and/or the ridges were smaller compared to the head, Gjack2 would hit the G-spot and probably the P-spot even better.

The penis head is very squishable while the lower part (which I marked on the photo below) is very hard, stiff, and hardly bendable or squishable.

How is the hook handle?

Gjack2 handle

At first, I was appalled because I don’t know, it looks clumsy but when we went and tried the toy a couple of times, I changed my mind. Only one of my fingers fits inside. If you have skinnier fingers than I do, you could probably fit two inside.

My fingers in the holder

It took us a couple of minutes but I did (or at least I think) I found the right way of holding the toy. If you insert your index finger inside the loop, while the toy is facing your body, you can easily thrust the toy and change the vibration modes/ speed settings with your thumb.

Proper way of holding Gjack2

This way, you don’t really need the second finger in the loop.

There are three buttons on the toy. + button increases the speed, – button lowers the speed setting and the middle button changes the vibration type. Pretty simple and straightforward.

Travel lock can be activated by holding the button for 2 seconds.

Another thing I really liked is the fact that there are + and – buttons exist, you don’t have to scroll all the way through all the options, just to reach the first setting.

Using + controlling Gjack2

This was an a-ha moment for us (or it was more like an oho moment). When we took the toy out of the box I was really surprised by its size. It’s not that it’s too big, it’s just that I expected a smaller toy.

I skipped this part on purpose in the last section of this review since I felt it fits better here.

Here is the toy in my hand. Pretty big right?

Proper way of holding Gjack2

And here’s another photo which I hope will convey its size better.

Comparing Gjack2's size with my arm

Gjack2 is 22 x 3.7 cm (8.66 x 1.46 in) big. Its insertable size is 12.7 cm/5″ (length) and 3.8cm/1.5″ (diameter). Or in other words, it’s big and girthy.

I got really turned on by the idea of fucking Leja with something in this sized

Soon after, we tried it and it was an exciting experience. I did apply the lube we have since it looked like it could be hurtful. It wasn’t in the end but just in case.

The lube we used is a water-based lube, just like they recommend using with the toy.

I like using lube in any situation I can and there is always a lube close by so I just decided that this might be the perfect situation to do so.

If you want to incorporate more lube into your sex life, here are 30 ways to use lube

I started really gently & slowly worked my way up. It took me some time but eventually, the bigger part of the vibrator was inside and Leja was squirming with pleasure and I did right beside her.

Gjack2 and me

The vibrations were next on the list. I turned on the toy, easily, with the thumb and tried switching between the modes.

Gjack2 has 5 vibration modes and 6 speed settings. The vibrations modes are somewhat typical.

Gjack2 vibration modes

But how are the vibrations?

The vibrations are rumbly but not exactly We-Vibe rumbly and deep. However, I have to say they are on the rumblier side of things while you’re on the lower speed setting.

As you progress to the higher speed setting, they start being more buzzier than rumblier.

Rumbly VS buzzy is a matter of preference, rather than quality. The motor is decent, powerful and it’s not loud. It’s not whisper quiet either – the sound level it creates is rather normal and acceptable.

Leja said she felt them, they were good, they just were not the key thing of enjoying this vibrator (the ridges were).

I continued using the toy externally. The vibration mode that was on was the first one on the list, and the speed setting was the lowest.

I circulated around and on her clitoris which resulted in her orgasming and in both of us being happy.

While the toy was not designed to be used anally, it’s possible to use it that way too, just be sure you have a tight grip on the handle. You don’t want it getting lost inside.

What else?

I wanted to mention the charging time quickly – for 2 hours of charging, you’ll get 4 hours of playtime, which I find very decent.

Another thing worth mentioning is cleaning. Since we all know how to clean silicone toys, the question arises – how do you clean Bioskin material properly?

Folks from Gvibe told us to clean it with warm water and soap – the usual way.

After cleaning, we checked the toy several times and it did not retain any odor.

Grand finale

All in all, we were satisfied with Gjack2.

It’s big, it’s bold and it’s something new in our intimate life.

Pair that with a 3-year warranty and you have a toy that’s totally worth getting (if all that I wrote here suits your needs, of course).

There are 3 color options available: mystic noir, tiffany mint, and cotton candy.

Leja said she would like it more in black, I’m on the opposite side of that, I think the lighter versions pronounce the size and the ridges more.

If you decide to go for it, you can get it at The Sex Shed for $105. The discount code that will get you 20% off is WELCOME20.

If you want to see another toy from Gvibe we reviewed – that would be Gvibe Candy Pink.

Thank you for reading and talk soon.
