I recently reviewed Sunset Mushroom – a mini wand vibrator by Pink Punch. And I was impressed with the story behind the toy as well as with how great the toy looked. And that space pod charging case – so adorable.
I also mentioned that I never was a big fan of mini wands and that I always preferred suction toys.
And almost like the vibration of my thoughts traveled to the Pink Punch Planet, Peachu found its way to me.
But if you don’t feel like reading my ramblings, here’s the verdict:
What is Peachu?
Peachu is a suction vibrator in the shape of (you guessed it) – peach. It’s bigger in size than an actual peach and it’s covered in a vibrant yellow – orange fade. Yet again, Pink Punch made their toy adorable.
And again, I really like the case. Because when Peachu is in the case it looks like a little alien pod with a transmission antenna. And I really like that idea since the little pod is also a charging case.
Technical details of our spacecraft
Peachu is a bit bigger than your usual suction toy, measuring 2.93 inches (7.4 cm) in diameter and 2.8 inches (7.1 cm) in height. The suction mouth is D shaped and it measures 0.5 inch (1.3 cm).
Covered in soft silicone, Peachu is very smooth, while being 100% waterproof. Magnetic charging port and a single button are located on the bottom side of the toy.
The magnetic charger connects to the case and I find that connection to be pretty strong. With a charging time of 2 hours, I can get 2 hours of play time.
The single button is used to turn the toy on/off (when holding it for 2-3 seconds), but also to cycle to 5 suction intensities.
Control mechanisms for our spacecraft’s remote operations
I really enjoy how the app is made. It’s neon and colorful, and it does look like something from outer space, or at least how I imagine it would.
It’s super easy to use and connecting to the toy is very simple – the app finds the toy in seconds.
The Pink Punch app offers not only more suction modes but also more intensity options for every suction mode the toy has.
When sliding up and down on the screen the intensity changes and it ranges from 0 to 100. With sliding left and right the vibration modes change.
Through the app, I can share a code to my Peachu so someone else can connect to it and change the modes for me – great for long distance relationships.
There’s also a “Lottery” mode which randomly picks a mode.
Buckle down and prepare for interstellar departure
Peachu feels comfortable in hand, almost like holding a tennis ball. I enjoy how smooth and soft it is.
When turned on, a tiny light illuminates inside the suction mouth. Another short press is needed to get the Peachu going.
It’s easy to position and hold the toy in place, it’s very comfortable in hand and it can be hands-free by squeezing thighs together.
Unfortunately, for me the sensation feels more like vibration than suction. The modes on the toy itself are pretty basic and the strongest one just feels like un-purposeful buzzing.
The modes in the app make it a bit better and I liked the rhythm of a couple of modes (specifically naughty cat and mood trip), but that suction just isn’t there.
Additional information
This part is a novelty in our reviews and here, I’m going to try and interpret the information for folks who are often not mentioned in online reviews.
If I’m wrong, please correct me.
For bigger folks
To use this toy you need to be able to comfortably reach your genitals. It can be used hands-free by holding it between thighs.
For older folks
The vibrations range is wide enough to meet everybody’s needs and wants. The buttons are easy to find and push mid-use. It can be used hands-free by holding it between thighs.
For folks with disabilities
The vibrations range is wide enough to meet everybody’s needs and wants. The app allows for this toy to be very easy to use.
For transgender & gender-diverse folks
My wish was to include information on how this toy would work for transgender and gender-diverse folks but this is far out of my scope of knowledge, so if someone would like to pitch in, please do!
Landing and final encounter
With my initial excitement, probably because Sunset Mushroom performed pretty well, I was left disappointed.
I really enjoyed how Peachu looks, how comfortable it feels in my hand and how convenient the app is to use. But when it came down to performance it was just lacking the suction motion I expect from a suction toy.
For $109, there are better suction toys available in the market. But if you still want to get Peachu, you can find it here.
