Clitoris — we’ve all heard about this tiny bundle of nerves responsible for countless orgasms around the world. We stroke it ourselves, and we love when our partners do it, too.

Sex toy makers have spent enormous amounts of time and money researching how to recreate the sensations of stroking, licking, and sucking — all in pursuit of clitoral pleasure.

And honestly, I often find myself staring at these toys, each one different from the next — unique in shape, size, and function.

Some may look basic but surprise you with their power and options, while others stand out right away — unusual, maybe special, maybe even cute.

And the one I have to show you today is definitely one of the unique ones. From afar, it looks like a rose. But up close… you’ll notice something else. Lips. And a tongue.

Sohimi Kiss mouth

Meet Kiss by Sohimi — a tongue vibrator and licking toy designed to combine suction and movement in one.

Sohimi Kiss review in short

Things we like about Sohimi Kiss

It has a unique design with soft, squishable outer lips and a gentle tongue tip. Suction and vibration can be operated simultaneously or separately, giving more control over stimulation. It can also be connected to the app for remote use — a nice touch for a licking toy in this price range.

Things we disliked about Sohimi Kiss

The hard plastic body feels sturdy but also makes the toy heavier than similar models — and it seems like it could get damaged if dropped. The vibrations are quite buzzy, even at lower settings, which might feel too intense for some users.

Key takeaway from Sohimi Kiss review

Overall, it’s a fun toy to try and play with. The combination of tongue vibrations and lip suction creates a unique experience. The suction feels more like a clitoral pump than the typical air-pulse suction found in most clitoral toys.

Sohimi Kiss box contents and unboxing

The Kiss comes packaged in a plain black box and includes an instruction manual and a charging cord.

Sohimi Kiss size, weight and material

The Kiss isn’t overly big. It measures 4 inches (10 cm) in length and 2.5 inches (6.5 cm) in width at the widest part.

The base is round and fits comfortably in hand.

The suction mouth is about 2.75 inches (7 cm) wide and 2.75 inches (7 cm) long.

The tongue measures 1 inch (2.5 cm) in length and about 0.4 inches (1 cm) in width at the tip, becoming slightly wider toward the base.

The mouth opening is 1.6 inches (4 cm) wide and 1.2 inches (3 cm) long, tapering down slightly at the bottom.

The whole toy resembles a rose, accented with a golden rim around the mouth.

It’s made from ABS plastic at the bottom and silicone at the top. Because of the plastic construction, the toy isn’t waterproof and shouldn’t be submerged in water.

Sohimi Kiss features

There are two main functions on the Kiss, each controlled by its own button.

Sohimi Kiss buttons

The first is suction, which has three intensity levels. The lowest setting is light and gentle, while the highest is noticeably stronger and more intense.

The second is vibration, which offers 10 modes — 3 steady speeds and 7 rhythmic patterns. The lower levels feel milder, but overall, the vibrations are quite buzzy and strong.

The vibration mode also determines the tongue’s movement, which rotates in circles, while the mouth section moves slightly up and down.

When the suction is activated, the mouth attaches to the skin and begins drawing it in, creating a sensation similar to light pumping. Both functions can be used separately or simultaneously.

Collaborations & fave brands

Our experience using Sohimi Kiss

I really liked the suction. It feels more like a clitoral pump than the typical air-pulse suction or pulsation of other clitoral toys I’ve tried.

The mouth attaches to the whole labia area, not just the clitoris, and creates a steady sucking sensation.

The first suction mode is gentle — great for easing into the sensation and teasing.

The strongest mode really pulls in the flesh and gives a deep, full feeling. I also liked that it stimulates a larger area.

The tongue moves in smooth circles, and when combined with the suction, it feels especially pleasant — exactly what you’d hope for from a clitoris licker or tongue vibrator.

My only issue is that the vibrations are quite strong and buzzy, especially on higher settings — for me, they travel through the skin, making it harder to feel that pinpointed clitoral sensation.

Joyhub APP

Connecting to the app via Bluetooth is easy — it recognizes the toy as soon as it’s turned on.

Within the app, the intensity of licking, sucking, and vibrating can be adjusted, which makes it much more practical and easier to control than pressing buttons on the toy itself.

It’s also more convenient, as it lets you turn off the vibrations and use only the tongue movements, which nicely solved my issue with the vibrations feeling too strong.

Is Sohimi Kiss a loud toy?

Because of the strong, powerful vibrations, the Kiss is a bit loud when the vibration mode is on. However, when using only the suction and/or licking function, it’s actually fairly quiet.

How to charge Sohimi Kiss?

The Kiss by Sohimi comes with a magnetic charger that holds decently. It takes about 2 hours to fully charge and provides around 50 minutes of playtime.

How to clean Sohimi Kiss?

Since the Kiss isn’t waterproof, it’s best to avoid getting the base wet. However, make sure to clean the mouth area thoroughly after each use and pat it dry with a clean towel.

Special considerations when using Sohimi Kiss?

The physical buttons are small and located close together. Users who find fine motor tasks difficult may prefer operating it through the Joyhub app, which offers easier control over suction, vibration, and tongue movement.

The vibration modes are on the louder side, which might be important for users who are sensitive to sound or live with others and need discretion.

Since the suction area covers more surface than pinpoint stimulators, precise positioning is less critical. This may benefit users with limited hand coordination or mobility who find holding small toys difficult.

The vibrations are strong and buzzy, which can be overstimulating for users with sensory sensitivities or neuropathic pain. The ability to disable vibrations entirely via the app makes it more adaptable.

Final words

I always enjoy trying toys that stand out from the usual, and the Kiss was no exception.

I was pleasantly surprised by the pump-like suction over a wider area and really enjoyed that sensation.

Even though the vibrations weren’t quite my style — they’d probably suit users who prefer that stronger, buzzy feel — it was still fun to try and play with.
