Bestvibe Fashion unboxing
The box is your standard cardboard box, nothing notable about it.
In it, you can find the toy, charger, instructions booklet, and storage pouch. There is no outlet cube, only a USB cable.
All this is standard and pretty much expected.
Since the cardboard box is not the one you would save, it is super cool that they sent a storage pouch.
Size
The Fashion vibrator is a smaller vibrator, or shorter, to be more precise. While the toy measures almost 9’’ inches in length, I would say 5.5’’ of it are insertable, or 6.5’’ inches, if you don’t mind inserting the buttons.
The toy has IPX6 waterproof rating and the toy’s buttons do not have any openings which means inserting them would not damage the toy. How it would feel? I don’t know. I did not insert them inside.
Same as the length, the width is also on the small/regular side. The shaft’s diameter stands at 1.5’’ at the top and it narrows to 1.25’’ at the middle.
Features
As I mentioned above, the toy has IPX6 waterproof rating. IPX6 waterproof rating means the toy can resist high-pressure, heavy sprays of water. But it can not be submerged so, unfortunately, you won’t be taking this cutey to the bath.
Two buttons are located at the bottom of the shaft, one is to turn the toy on and off, and the second one is to cycle through the vibration modes.
There are 10 different vibration modes that differ in strength and pattern. Like in any other toy, some of them are meh and some are pretty good. The preference is totally individual.
While most of the vibration modes err on the buzzing side, some of the modes have a pretty decent strength for a toy that costs $36. I was pleasantly surprised with some of the modes.
Right on the box, they boast Whisper quiet – which, let’s face it, is the catchphrase du jour. Gave me a little eye-roll moment.
The toy?
Quiet, but not library-level silent, so if you’re thinking of a stealthy session with others around, you’ll want to cue up some tunes or at least, your favorite Netflix show.
The feature I dig the most is the fact the shaft is flexible.
Flexibility adds value and variety to usage. More on that a little bit later.
Before we continue onto the Using chapter, I want to say the toy is made from silicone while one detail is made from ABS plastic (the gold detail).
The charging hole is on the bottom and the charger is the ‘’classic’’ one, not the magnetic one.
For two hours of charge, you will get two hours of play. Good.
Using
The bottom of the toy is narrowed which serves as some kind of a handle and as that, it is useful. You or your partner would position the toy between the fingers, while using the thumb to control the buttons.
Buttons are perforated, and raised up, which makes them easy to find and push mid-use. I appreciate that feature, and I deem it essential. I’ve never been a fan of toys where you have to pause, squint, and precisely target the button before diving back into the fun.
The toy felt pretty great. I alternated between penetration and massaging the clitoris with the tip. Here the flexible shaft did a lot since I was able to push the toy into myself and not hurt myself. It kinda gave the right amount of pressure.
I would not say the toy gave me the fulfilling sensation some toys give, however, the ridges along the shaft felt amazing while thrusting in and out.
Luka also liked playing with it. He usually gets annoyed when the buttons/handle are impractical which was not the case with this toy.
As I mentioned earlier, some vibration settings have a decent punch that effortlessly transported me to the euphoric realm of climax.
Special considerations
I wanted to go over a couple of things here that might be useful to some folks.
Bigger folks might have issues reaching and penetrating due to the size of the toy, however, if used as a wand to stimulate the clitoris this should not be an issue.
Vibrations, at least most of them, are somewhere in the middle of the strength scale. Not sure how folks who are less or more sensitive would like it but I think it is important to note that.
Also, the vibrations transfer to the hand.
The thing that I (again) want to compliment is the buttons, which are easily findable andpressable. They also have their own light, which could be important if you have eyesight issues or are playing in low light.
Conclusion
All in all, the toy pleasantly surprised me.
At first, I was expecting something of very low quality due to the price point and the fact that there is one name on the website and a different name on the box.
To me, those are usually the signs of low-quality effort and production.
However, after playing and testing the toy, I can with confidence say that these $36 would be well spent.
You’re not picking up a Rolls Royce here, but rather a reliable ride that’ll serve its purpose. It might not dazzle, but it’s sure to deliver on practicality.
We often recommend more expensive toys, not due to the brand names but for the mere fact that they’re often made better, have better vibrations and are long-lasting, however, if your budget does not allow it or you simply want to try something new and add a new toy to your collection, do not hesitate to buy this one!
