Review: Rear Assets Heart Butt Plug

Another week, another review! 

This one will be short and sweet, exactly like the toy I’m reviewing today.

Usually, Leja is the one who’d be reviewing plugs but since it’s my turn to write one and since she told me ‘’Yes, it didn’t go up your ass but you were the one to insert it.’’ – you’re stuck with me, Luka, writing a butt plug review.

Brace yourselves.

So, the toy I’m reviewing today is Rear Assets Rose Gold and Pink Gemstone Heart Anal Plug, sold by Betty’s Toy Box.

I do apologize in advance for the quality of images in this review (probably also in the next two or three) because we absolutely smashed our Nikon camera and have to use another camera we have.

Box

The box is a regular box, containing the butt plug and a black pouch inside. The pouch is not satin, as Leja told me but still very cute and most importantly convenient.

Material

This cute little plug is made of aluminum hence it is very light in hand. 

Aluminum is a non-toxic and non-porous material which makes it a great choice for sex toys. 

The one we got is chrome-plated, in rose gold color. It looks very luxurious and fancy – a great gift for your partner. 

The heart, on top of the plug, is made from some kind of zirconium. 

Shape and size

The plug has a traditional butt plug shape. 

Its tip is tapered for easier insertion, followed by a larger body, and then a thin neck and a wide and flat base to ensure it doesn’t move further inside than wanted (and for easier removal).

The size I chose is small, which turned out to be a sort of a mistake. Why a mistake?

Because during the few sessions we used, the lubed plug fell out a couple of times easily. So that was kinda pain in the ass, as we had to wash it before using it again.

How big (or small) is it exactly?

The overall size of the plug is 2.76 (height, 7.01 cm ) x 1.3 (3.3 cm) x 1.3 (3.3 cm) inches while insertable dimensions are 1.77 (4.3 cm) x 1.06 (2.7 cm) inches – which makes it an amazing beginner plug! 

We tried to show its size in the following picture.

Compared to the last plug we reviewed, this one is almost two times smaller.

Using it

The single most important thing when playing with plugs is lube. The goal is to slide it in comfortably, not painfully.

We have an article about the best anal lubricants but if you don’t feel like reading, this is the one we use and like (although it’s not an anal lube).

Before I continue, I feel like it’s a good thing to write it again. Using desensitizing anal lubes is not a great idea. You should be able to feel the pain – if it’s painful, it is time to stop or slow down.

Before inserting the plug, I applied the lube to the whole plug and around her a-hole and worked her a bit with a finger. Plug just slid in easily, like a hot knife through butter (you’re welcome to compliment my writing skills, down in the comments section :D).

Honestly, I was even surprised how sexy this little bling, bling heart looked while it was in her. 

Amazing. 

Not to even mention how hot the lapdance was.

Cleaning

This plug is best cleaned with liquid antibacterial soap and lukewarm water, or if you want to invest in a cleaning solution, this one is good and affordable.

Pat dry with a soft, cotton towel and leave it to completely dry.

Finale

So here goes important info, in case you decide to get it.

Betty’s Toy Box offers the same Rear Assets plug in one more size – medium. 

That size’s insertable part is approx. 0.7 inches long and it’s probably a better choice if this is not your first butt plug. It’s possible to get it in a multi-color option and also, you can get it with a different looking base (circular, not heart-shaped).

How much $$$?

The one I reviewed today costs 11.99$, which seems appropriate, while the bigger one is 14.99$.
