In my eyes, rabbit vibrators always look promising since they have the ability to stimulate two places at once. But!! they rarely deliver on that promise. However, that is not the case with We-Vibe Nova 2.

Before I further continue into details and explanations, I felt like it’s necessary to write that it is me, Luka, writing the review. The review is based on my own experience as well as Leja’s.
To clarify the thought from the very beginning – why rabbit vibrators rarely deliver on the promise?
It’s actually rather simple. Every rabbit vibrator is built/designed in a certain way, with certain sizes, angles, thicknesses, and curves. But the thing is, our bodies are not the same. Everybody is unique. And because of that reason, rabbit vibrators usually can not please every person in the same amount.
Some of the rabbit vibrators we played with just don’t hit Leja’s clit, while I or she thrusts it in. If I switch the focus of rabbit ears to better aim the clit, then the penetration is too shallow and not doing a good job. And that same rabbit vibrator can work wonders for you, and it may suck royally for your friend.
After we unbox the We-Vibe Nova 2, I’ll show you why it is different
But before we continue, here a quick recap.
We-Vibe Nova 2 box
The box looks good. Design is and the colors are simple. I liked informative illustrations on the back and left side of the box.
The box is opened by removing the top lid. There is a placeholder on top where Nova 2 is placed, under which are three compartments with the instruction pamphlet, a sachet with Pjur lube, a small white pouch for the toy, and the charging cable.
It’s a good quality box, pretty firm. All in all, the box has a fancy, luxurious feel to it.
Material
Nova 2 is made from high-quality body-safe silicone. When you touch it feels very soft and squishy.
We held a decent amount of toys in our hands and for not that many we can say they feel so gentle and yet firm.
There is one little thing I disliked.
Always, while writing the review, I hold the toy in front of me so I can examine the tiniest little detail on it. And at first, I didn’t notice it but whilst holding it for a while, I felt something under my fingers.
That was the ‘’seam,’’ probably created by the mold they used to make the toy.
Although this is a downside, the good thing is that this is only a visual downside. It’s almost impossible to feel it under thumbs and more importantly, Leja said she did not feel it at all while the toy was inside.
Since we’re talking about the materials, I would like to mention one more thing.
Since the toy is made from silicone, it would be best not to use silicone lubes with it. They included a nice small sachet of Pjur water-based lubricant, which is nice.
When you go through it, which you’ll do quickly, we can recommend Good Clean Love. It’s simple lube with all the great ingredients.
Nova 2 shape
What makes Nova 2 different from other rabbit vibrators is its shape.
‘’Rabbit ears’’ or clit arm has this amazing curve. Unusual too compared to what I’m used to seeing on other rabbit vibrators is a differently shaped curve.
And not only is the curve special but it’s also very, very, veeeery flexible. It easily bends in a forward and backward direction, thus enabling almost-constant contact between the arm and clit.
Now onto the main thing that differentiates Nova 2 from other rabbit vibrators – the G-spot arm.
This is what surprised me.
The G-spot arm is adjustable. Yes, that’s right.
It’s fairly firm so it may feel weird the first time you try to adjust it. Based on the force you have to use, it will almost feel like you’re going to break the thing. But you won’t and the force needed is actually not that strong but when you don’t expect it to move and the toy is firm, it just feels like that.
The first time we used it, we weren’t aware of the fact that it’s adjustable and if we wrote the review based on that experience, Nova 2 would be just another average rabbit vibrator that sometimes hits and sometimes doesn’t.
But this, coupled with a very flexible clit arm is a game-changer. Nova 2 can be adapted to fit a wide range of bodies (if not every type).
Using it We-vibe Nova 2
The best part of reviewing toys is by far (rigorously) testing them with Leja. Oh, all the things we do for science.
I won’t take the first time into account since we weren’t aware of the fact that We-Vibe Nova 2 is fully adjustable.
After we had that AHA! moment and we were like ‘’Again! We have to try it again!’’
That time, we had a completely different experience. I was licking her nipples and thrusting the vibrator in and out, at a gentle but steady pace.
Without any exaggeration, she literally exploded. She always shakes while orgasming but this time she shook longer. Success!
Adjusting the G-spot arm for just a tiny bit (angle) did wonder. She said it perfectly hit her G-spot while at the same time, it was stimulating the clit. I could not attest if the toy was actually touching the clit all the time since my head was buried in her tits but judging by what she said and the orgasm I saw, I think it did.
From my perspective, ‘’the handle’’ perfectly fits my hand, it almost feels like a vibrator-sword. I felt very comfortable holding it and thrusting it in. It didn’t slip in any moment and I had complete control all the time. Control buttons were just below my thumb so I was easily able to change speed or vibration setting while thrusting it in.
Another major ‘’pro’’ of this toy is the rumbly, powerful vibrations. Deep vibrations.
Nova 2 has 2 motors – one in each arm.
And you can easily control which motor is working. One press activates the G-spot arm motor, the second press activates the clit arm motor and the third press activates both of the motors. The fourth press will turn off the clit arm motor and leave the G-spot arm motor working.
All the speed settings are somewhat unique. Lower settings have that slow but really strong and rumbly vibrations while the higher settings are more like bzzzzzzzzzzzzz but also strong.
On top of that, We-Vibe Nova 2 has 10 vibration patterns. Some of them I really loved. For example this one:
Combined with gentle strokes, this pattern delivered perfectly timed, alternating vibrations to the G-spot and clitoris. The sentence ‘’dance to my beat’’ describes this situation perfectly. Ironically, it’s called cha-cha cha.
For those of you living with roommates, kids, or parents – Nova 2 is a quiet toy. There is no way this toy can be heard through closed doors. Not even on the highest setting.
But beware, your moaning can probably be heard. 😀
This speaks a lot to the quality of the build and to the quality of tech/motors inside it. Some cheaper toys sound like there is something crushing inside. This one is very elegant.
Leja used the toy a few more times and was satisfied every time. She played with different angles of the G-spot arm as well as with different vibration patterns. For the sake of testing the toy, she also tried it while taking a bath. The toy is indeed waterproof and it works pretty much the same as outside the water.
Controlling We-Vibe Nova 2
Nova 2 is simple to control. The toy has 4 buttons, which are visible and easy to press. Also, it’s unlikely to happen that you’ll press two buttons at once.
The toy is turned on by pressing the + button and turned off by pressing the – button. Those buttons are also used to increase or decrease vibration speed. The third button is used to control which motor is working. The left and right arrows are used to change vibration patterns.
We-connect app
Nova 2 can also be controlled via a mobile app.
Connecting the toy to the app is easy – you just have to hold the motor button for a few seconds until the toy vibrates two times. This will turn on the pairing mode, and just seconds later, it will connect to the app. Tried it a few times and it worked without any problems.
The app is simple to use. You can control all the same things as you could by pressing the buttons. It’s straightforward, which I like. And also, I did not notice any major bugs in the app.
After you connect the toy and the app, it’s possible to connect it with your partner’s app. Making this toy perfect for long-distance partner play (and obviously short distance).
One sweet little detail I really liked are the two extra functions: Touch and Beat modes.
In the ‘’Touch’’ mode you control the toy by swiping across the screen, while in the ‘’Beat’’ mode, you can control the toy with either sound from your mic or with songs on your phone.
And while we did not find any critical errors or faults in using the app, alone or together, while doing our usual research, we heard people mentioning a lag happening when a partner controls the toy from a long distance. This is, on the other hand understandable, since data has to travel.
What else?
Cleaning We-Vibe Nova 2 is a walk in the park. Simply use warm water and antibacterial soap. Material is non-purpose so you won’t have to worry about nasty bacteria living on your vibrator. After cleaning, conveniently store in the pouch they sent with the toy.
The charging cable is magnetic and it easily clips onto the toy. Compared to the last toy we reviewed, Gvibe’s Candy Pink, this works fine and the cable does not disconnect by just looking at it.
Before I finish, I also wanted to mention the travel lock function. While travel lock is not something crucial, it’s nice to know there is that option too. You can travel lock your Nova 2 by holding the + and – buttons together for 2 seconds.
Finale
All things considered, We-Vibe did a great job with this toy. As a guy who graduated in mechanical engineering, I’m pretty fascinated by the design (and this is the second time in a short while, njoy Pure Wand was the first).
Because, the design is not just how it looks, design is how it works.
And by implementing a few simple changes, We-Vibe managed to change the whole toy. Suddenly, from the toy that just can’t please everybody, we have a toy that can adapt to a wide range of bodies and on top of that, deliver rumbly, body-shaking orgasms.
Furthermore, Leja said that this is actually the first rabbit vibrator that actually stimulates both the G-spot and clit at the same time.
The toy comes with a 2-year warranty, which is a great bonus. Although the toy’s insides are definitely of quality, the sad reality is that they sometimes break.
