Saffron Cuffs came in a white box, nicely flattened on a soft black bag. We use the same bag for storing.
I immediately noticed their exquisite quality. Nice and shiny faux leather on the outside but jet so soft on the inside. The cuffs are padded which makes them pretty thick, but also comfortable to wear.
Also, a combination of black and red is a total win in my book.
This set is made with vegan faux leather and it has an adorable deep red line on both edges. Metal parts are black metallic color and they match perfectly.
I am still amazed by how well made are these restraints. They are heavy duty and with that quality, I am sure that we will have them for many, many years as they are very durable.
Using Saffron Cuffs for the first time
Honestly, when my husband put them on me for the first time, I wanted to keep wearing them as bracelets. They do feel amazing on my skin.
When putting them on for the first time it was a bit hard to buckle them up, since they are pretty firm. After a few uses, they do get softer and we have no problems with putting them on.
They come with a clip, like any standard set of handcuffs. As well as any set I owned before those clips are a bit short. It was a bit hard for us to connect them behind the metal bar of our bed.
We fixed this with a simple chain which gave us more flexibility.
I like to clean my cuffs just like any other toy. Cleaning them is quite simple. I just wet a soft cloth with warm water and wipe them thoroughly.
These restraints can also be combined with a spreader bar, chains, or other BDSM gear, like this under the bed restraint system.
I will definitely use them again, I’m seriously thinking about wearing one as a bracelet. Just maybe not to work.
